Danila Curcio lives in Rome and works for Confcooperative, member of the Italian Cooperative Alliance, as Head of the International Institutional Relations at the Brussels Office in the Political Union Department.
She studied at Wilson High School, in Long Beach, California, and she graduated as Interpreter & Translator. She then became a sinologist at the Institute for African & Oriental Studies in Rome. Danila has a Master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology at the Goldsmith College in London.
Before starting to work with the Italian Cooperative movement, she spent 15 years at the Virtual Exhibitions as Assistant Curator & Head of International Relations for the Italian multimedia company INFOBYTE Ltd. where she contributed to the success of the making of many virtual exhibits.
Danila lived abroad for 13 years in the USA, Germany, England and China, where she had the great privilege to work with people of different socio-cultural and political backgrounds. She worked as a facilitator within ICA C20 WG for the promotion of the cooperative Identity within the C20 G20-’21.
